A trip round whites trail, orignal plan was todo the Skyline but the others had a few too many beers the night before plus a bit of a late start.
We kept a good pace up the first club while we were moving but with a few stops to admire the views (not to stop for a rest honest)
There was another change of plan when the black route was closed due to a fallen tree. As ive ridden whites a couple of times now Im getting to know it now so could really give it some on the down hill bits at times it was quite a wait for the others to catch up!
I still have the standard moment on the one corner of the north shore section don't know what it is with that corner but I nearly came off on it again!
On the last section I was going for air over the rocky sections rather than just dropping the front wheel over knowing roughly whats coming next makes things so much easier. Things started getting a bit sketchy when I managed to get a puncture in my front wheel it was a bit late in the trail to stop to fix it so just pumped it up and went faster to get back before it went flat again.
A great ride but will hopefuly get round to doing the skyline oneday!
The others had a great day their first taste of man made mountain bike trails
